About the ITBL

Typical Summer Season

- Teams in the league schedule their own games against other teams in the league. Four-game series with the league tournament at the end of July.

- Teams can still compete in non league games and tournaments.

- All-Star Games will be mid-July

- Wood bats only

 

The purpose of the ITBL

- To provide independent travel clubs a league to compete in

- To provide travel clubs an ease of scheduling games each year with league members

- To provide travel clubs an end of the summer tournament

- To provide showcase opportunities

- League all-star game at a college or university in New England. The all-star game is a showcase event for players in the league

- Double-elimination league playoffs at the end of the summer season

- League championship games played at a college or university in New England

- Entry into the league's Scout Day in front of college coaches and pro scouts
